Bipasha Basu - I Would Love To Work With Rana Daggubati Again

When asked about her experiences working on Dum Maaro Dum, Bipasha Basu replies, "DMD is a special film for me. Whatever happens to the film I will never forget the experience of working in this film. I had a blast shooting in Goa. I made some good friends. Me, Abhishek, Rana and Prateik, we spent a lot of time together on and off the sets. This is one film I would cherish for a long time. There are a lot of expectations from the film. Hope we will live up to the expectation. I'm sure the film will do well."

Speaking about her role Bips says, "If I like a script, I do it. I went into a trance when the script of DMD was narrated to me. I decided that I should be part of the project, come what may, because this film will remain as a landmark in my career. The name of my character is Jo and she wants to her city evolve. Every character in the movie has it's own significance."

On her co-star Rana, she says, "Rana is not just beautiful but is a good actor as well. I didn't know him much before Dum Maaro Dum but during the film I realized that he is so normal and very humble. He also speaks Hindi fluently. I share a good rapport with him. I'd love to work with Rana again. I'm sure he will help me out with the language."

Bipasha Basu and Rana Dagubatti got to know each other only when they started shooting for Rohan Sippy’s film Dum Maaro Dum, but both the actors gelled so well that no body could say that they were strangers before Dum Maaro Dum happened.

The latest that we hear is that Bips has found a 3 am friend in Rana. If rumors are to be believed, the bong beauty dials Rana, every time time she has a problem or something new to share.

News also has it that Bips gave him Hindi lessons. The Bong bombshell finds him sweet and nice. She says, “He is like our usual crop of young heroes in Bollywood, hassle-free”.

With John Abraham out of her life, looks like she has found solace in Rana’s arms. ;)

Singularity is a hollywood project with Bipasha Basu & Josh Hartnett. The movie revolves around four characters – a British officer in colonial India and the Indian woman he falls in love with, an American marine biologist and his researcher lover — who gets trapped in a wrecked British merchant ship. Bipasha will play the Maratha warrior Tulaja Naik.

Bipasha Basu Plays Role of Maratha Warrior

Mumbai: As Camel rides take a toll on Bipasha, the Bong beauty Bollywood actress is all set to play the role of a Maratha warrior in Singularity.

She had a gala time shooting for her first Hollywood adventure “Singularity” in Australia. But at the same time this has drained her out physically.

Bipasha posted a blog on Twitter stating “’Whoa! It’s been physically tiring…the shoot! Lots of camel riding, compensated by the awesome locations.”

The film will be directed by English-French director Roland Joffe and in the film she plays the role of a Maratha warrior.
