Bipasha Basu has taken accessorising to the next level. She recently got herself a piercing. The actress revealed through her Twitter account that she'd wanted to do it ever since she was 16.

Bipasha Basu Have moved on.Are Bipasha Basu and Shahid Kapoor an item? The buzz doing the rounds in Bollywood would seem to suggest as much. Bong bombshell Bipasha and chocolate hero Shahid have both been coping with heartbreak lately. Bipasha recently announced her split with longtime boyfriend John Abraham after an affair that lasted almost eight years. Shahid broke up with Priyanka Chopra not long ago.

Bipasha and Shahid were reportedly introduced to each other through their fitness trainer Abbas and the two stars seem to have found solace in each other's company after deciding to move on. Stoking fuel to the fire are reports that Shahid recently sent out a special invitation to Bipasha for a private party only open to his closest friends.

"Bipasha has never been a part of Shahid's friend circle, so eyebrows were raised when he called Bipasha to invite her to a party at his residence. Shahid is known to be a shy guy, so when Bipasha walked in at the party everyone present was surprised," an industry insider said.

After spending a decade in the Indian film industry, Bipasha Basu has finally bowed down to the market diktats.

The actress, who has always refrained from doing special dance numbers for films where she was not a part of the main cast (barring a few exceptions like No Smoking), is now willing to perform an item number for a film where she is not the leading lady

“Yes, maybe I need to give special songs and dance numbers a rethink,” the actress said in a rather reluctant tone, suggesting that she is now open to the idea of gyrating to the tune of an item number.
Well, it seems like a good change for Bipasha, but could this also be because of the popularity that Malaika Arora Khan (Munni), Deepika Padukone (Dum Maaro Dum) and Mallika Sherawat (Razia) have achieved for those special item numbers they did?

Bipasha feels otherwise. “My last few films have all been realistic, due to which I haven’t been a part of any quintessential song and dance numbers. I guess I may take an exception now and give my nod to a song if it is really exclusive to a film, and is cool and catchy,” she says

When asked about her experiences working on Dum Maaro Dum, Bipasha Basu replies, "DMD is a special film for me. Whatever happens to the film I will never forget the experience of working in this film. I had a blast shooting in Goa. I made some good friends. Me, Abhishek, Rana and Prateik, we spent a lot of time together on and off the sets. This is one film I would cherish for a long time. There are a lot of expectations from the film. Hope we will live up to the expectation. I'm sure the film will do well."

Speaking about her role Bips says, "If I like a script, I do it. I went into a trance when the script of DMD was narrated to me. I decided that I should be part of the project, come what may, because this film will remain as a landmark in my career. The name of my character is Jo and she wants to her city evolve. Every character in the movie has it's own significance."

On her co-star Rana, she says, "Rana is not just beautiful but is a good actor as well. I didn't know him much before Dum Maaro Dum but during the film I realized that he is so normal and very humble. He also speaks Hindi fluently. I share a good rapport with him. I'd love to work with Rana again. I'm sure he will help me out with the language."

Bipasha Basu’s sms spook last week confirmed she is single back again and has parted ways with the long term beau John Abraham. There are no rumours that are doing rounds but conform news. The Bong beauty is back enjoying her singlehood again.

The dusky hottie is acting like a complete rocker and has been hanging out with the hottest of men making her new found single status all the more enviable.


Basu was reportedly seen cozying up with her ‘Singularity’ co-star and Hollywood hunk Josh Hartnett.

A source from the sets of the film revealed to a tabloid, "Bipasha has been getting rather friendly with lead actor Josh. On Saturday night, at a get-together, in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, she was getting a bit too close to him." The source adds, "They also stay at the same hotel, while the rest of the crew put up at another." This has given Bipasha and the ‘Pearl Harbor ‘star a chance to spend even more time together after the shoots.

After her break up she was initially seen hanging out with Rana Dugabatti her co-star from ‘Dum Maaro Dum’. However, recently she has moved her interest to Hollywood it seems.

Well, Bips surely has a great taste in men and she knows how to make best use of spinsterhood!

Bipasha Basu snubs splitsville rumours

Bipasha Basu has lashed out at rumours that her relationship with long- time boyfriend John Abraham has hit a dead end. She has insisted that they are still very much together.

She tweeted: "Hi all! Speculation is a part of our business! I know the warmth and love that I get from you all! Everything is fine with John and me :) Thank u!" The dusky beauty, who has been with John for the past eight years, hates rumours about her relationship.

"I hope people realise that everyone's life and relationships can be treated with a little dignity here• nt GOSSIP! Al of us r real human beings after al!? (sic)," she added.

Speculations have been rife that John and Bipasha are no longer a couple as they haven't made a public appearance together in a long time, which has set tongues wagging.

The buzz was that the hot couple had got bored of each other. However, Bipasha refuted these rumours and said they haven't been able to spend time together as they were busy doing their respective films and meeting professional commitments.

For the time being, Bipasha is excited about her first international film, Roland Joffe's Singularity , and has also posted the first look of the movie on her Twitter account.

She plays Tulaja Naik, a Maratha warrior in the film, opposite Josh Hartnett. The film has been shot extensively in Australia. One of the film's schedules will also be shot in India. We can't wait to see Bips' chemistry with Josh.
